Take time to be present and just notice...
Day 8 of the UK coronavirus lockdown. How are we doing?
We have entered our third week where all those that can are working from home..
We are into our second week of Stay Home..
I hope you are finding your space and creating a routine that works. It will take time, and that is ok.
So what have I noticed and what can I share with you?
- I'm settling in and finding "my comfort zone"
- There are so many online meeting, webinars, networking groups and invites which can get overwhelming so it is time to be really clear about what matter and what is important, for me, my future, my family and my dreams
- I am creating space to do little things, more often, that are not necessarily 'working at my desk'
- I am enjoying my walks and feeling less fearful when others are around - we are all stepping off the paths and keeping large distances between us
- My pup is super excited to have me spend time with her and really tells me when she thinks I have sat for long enough...
- Spring is awesome! The daily changes are amazing and I am loving seeing the emerging spring blossom and unfurling leaves
- I need, and love, having loads of sleep
- I am watching far less television, and really enjoying the time that I do sit down to 'chill out'
- I have started limiting my time reading social media posts, including my amazing WhatsApp groups - they are lovely and full of fun and positive messages but very, very active right now as people are either finding new ways of connecting / being, or struggling with too much time to fill..
- I am listening to my audio book at every opportunity, as we have book club on Thursday... our first one online which will be a very new experience for most of the gals
- I have increased my global contact again which has been awesome - I have some incredible friends spread all over the world, and with my focus being more local over the past 12 months, I have not had as much contact with them as I used too! Now I am actively in contact with beautiful people, both near and far ;)
- There are some really innovative ways of doing online networking appearing
- I am taking a crazy number of photos!
- Life is feeling quieter and calmer as we retreat into our own worlds and slow down
- I have to remember to exercise more inside... setting challenges and targets for self, as well as clients 😆
- Covid-19 can be really frightening - I have a few friends who are facing this nightmare, and sharing their journey daily which has been insightful and pretty scary
- I'm writing more, capturing more thoughts, sharing more videos, being more present, flowing with ideas and loving helping more people, and being very grateful for many things
So today I leave you with some of my many pictures taken over the last two days, and a video of my musings.
Keep safe, keep calm and keep healthy.
