Being interested is nice but it isn’t going to make something amazing happen. You need to have a really determined focus and commitment to achieve.
Dieting is the classic example. I’m sure we all know someone who seems to be on an endless cycle of different diets. Starting, restarting, trying another, but nothing much changes. Then, one day, you bump into someone you haven’t seen for a few years and wham! What has changed? Blimey they’ve only lost a whole stack of weight… Wow, you congratulate and cheer and really share in the sense of massive achievement with them.
But what was the difference? What diet was responsible? How did they achieve this? This truly miraculous result…. The actual how may vary but the reason why invariably never does! They had a really powerful motivation for ‘making it happen’. They were totally committed to the cause.
Whether this reason was a health ‘wake-up’ shout from the medical profession, or an approaching ‘important’ birth date, or special event, there is always a reason why that focused the attention and deserved full commitment.
Whatever, you really want to achieve, provided it is vaguely sensible, is always possible if you are committed and measure all your activities in terms of the value they add towards success on your chosen venture.
Good luck. You can do it!
